Leadership changes

The Hong Kong Dragons have announced an expanded 5 man playing leadership group for the 2016 Asian Champs Campaign and beyond.
In the new-look leadership team, Captain Tim Smith and Vice Captain Chris Burke will be joined by deputies Lachlan Evans, Jock Auld and Justin Bentley. Gary Wines continues as Head Coach, aptly supported by Senior Playing Assistant Coach, Chris Barr.

Evans, a footy tactician and proven clubman, 2015 All-Asian and hard-man Auld as well as Bentley who will lead by example with his preparation and work rate will each bring fresh skills and know-how.

“We have an amazing group of men and leaders all with fantastic attributes and character to get our boys up and firing”. Said club President, Mark Mastores.

The next generation of leaders at the Dragons will ensure an exciting and varied schedule of training over the next few months as we lead into Asian Champs in Ho Chin Minh City in October.

The first session back after the summer break will be a beach training session on August 13th, details to come.
